Even at this moment, our friends and family are working out in the field despite the dangers.  A smooth communication is of the utmost importance for their safety, but it is not easy to use a smartphone when you are out in the field. This is the reason why we have decided to develop a 'special' wearable system to protect the lives of field workers from any contingencies. The result is the Nexsys ‘Helpware.' In the Helpware's 'helmet,' a camera and an LTE module are built in. This allows the worker to film the situation and transfer it to the cloud server in real time. There is also a speaker and a microphone in the helmet, so the worker can always keep in touch with the control center. Also, the 'Helpware band' worn on the wrist has a cardiac sensor, and the 'Helpware shoes' worn on the feet has a toxic gas sensor. 이 책은 R&D결과물(발명)을 특허로 보호하여 경쟁사들로부터 고액의 기술수입을 올리는 선진 특허경영기업(Qualcomm 등) 및 특허전문기업(NPE)의 성장과정을 분석하고, 애플 vs 삼성 소송이 발생할 수밖에 없었던 원인을 파악하여, 특허를 통해 시장장악력을 높이는 방법에 관한 <특허경영 4단계>론을 구체적으로 제시하였다.  ○ 우리나라 기업이 종전과 같은 경영전략을 유지할 경우, 생산력에 있어서 전 기술분야에 걸쳐 중국에 추월당할 것이고, 창의력에 있어서 미국을 따라잡을 수 없을 것이다. 따라서, 한국기업들은, 제품마진(생산수익)과 기술료(창의수익)가 높은 선진 특허경영 기업이 되어야 하며, 이를 위해 특허경영 4단계론을 도입하여야 한다. □ 특허로 경영하라   ○ 이코노미스트, 골드만 삭스, 씨티은행 등 세계적인 금융기관들은 2050년 한국의 1인당 국민소득이 세계 1~2위가 될 것이며, 세계경제를 주도하는 국가가 될 것으로 전망하고 있다. 한국의 경제성장을 위한 구체적인 방법은 i) 창의적인 R&D결과물(발명)을 체계적으로 만들고 ii) 이를 강력한 특허로 설계하고 해외출원하여, iii) 특허가 기업의 시장장악을 위한 강력한 무기가 되도록 하는 것뿐이다. ○ 특허경영은 애플, 삼성, 필립스 등과 같은 최첨단 다국적기업만 가능한 것이 아니며, 특정한 기술분야/제품의 소기업도 특허경영의 도입으로 고도성장과 시장장악이 가능하다.  ○ 특허경영은 한 번에 달성할 수 있는 것이 아니며, ①도입단계(발명능력 강화) - ②양적확대(특허창출능력 강화) - ③질적확대(특허분석능력 강화) - ④특허경영(시장장악능력 강화)으로 구성된 4단계 성장과정을 통해 도달할 수 있으며, 이를 통해 시장장악력을 극대화 할 수 있다. □ 1단계 - 도입단계  ○ 도입단계란, 특허경영을 하기로 결정하는 단계이다. 특허를 확보했다고 하여 당장 투자효과를 보이는 것이 아니기 때문에, 국내기업...
